NOTES: Northwest of Albany near Speculator, the Oak Mountain Ski Center has 14 trails served by 3 lifts with a maximum vertical drop of 650 feet.
Directions from the south:
Take the NYS Thruway to Amsterdam (Route 30).
Take Route 30 north to Speculator (approx: 1 hr).
At the 4-corners in Speculator, take a right onto Elm Lake Road.
Oak Mountain will be approx. 1/2 mile on your left.
